Hi:
I'm having several problems with Exchange 2003. I've solved many of them, but I have a new one. The system sends mail using a pop3 client, like Thunderbird, but using OWA or Outlook 2007, the mail never gets the recipient. Ok, I've seen that if I send the mail from Outlook 2007 the message isplaced in Drafts, but sending with OWA, the mail is placed in "Outbox" but I think the mail doesn't go to the SMTP server. If i see the logs, it says: "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM no pudo iniciar la sesión como NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM en el Almacén de carpetas públicas como Primer grupo de almacenamiento\Almacén de carpetas públicas (GERIONTESERVER)." Can't start session. From outlook 2007 I see this message in "Syncronization problems": 17:29:47 Libreta de direcciones sin conexión de Microsoft Exchange 17:29:47 0X8004010F I can't mount the Public Folders Warehouse. If i try, i get: Error code: C1041723 Any Idea? Thanks. |

How would you send mail using a POP3 client? That makes no sense. POP3 is
a single mailbox mail retrieval protocol, not a mail transport protocol. |

Ok, POP3 to download mail, and SMPT to send mail. The client could be
Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird. All of them work, but owa is not sending the mail. What's the difference between them? Ed Crowley [MVP] escribió: |

OWA is a client. How would it figure into mail that you're sending from
another client by SMTP? |
