We have an implementation of co-existance of Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2003
during our migration. We are having a problem with users already migrated to exchange 2007 not being able to see the free/busy of users still on Exchange 2003. I have created a public folder storage group and a public folder DB in 07 and then created a replica from 03 to 07, however overnight nothing replicated and still can not see the free/busy. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

Try this article:
http://blog.stealthpuppy.com/exchang...older-replicas My case is different: - I could see free/busy info for all users (E2K3 and E2K& based) from users created on E2K7 - I could see all free/busy info from mailboxes on E2K3 about users on E2K3 - I cannot see this info from E2K3 based users for those created on E2K7. Obviously E2K7 Availability service doesn't publish its free/busy info to public folders and don't replicate this back to E2K3 users. Any idea. I probably need to be more clear on my issue.
I installed Exchange 2007 in an existing Exchange 2003 environment, so we can co-exist. When I move a user from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007, the user can not see the Free/busy from the other users still on Exchange 2003. However the users from Exchange 2003 can see the schedules of the users on Exchange 2007. I do not not get any errors on the either exchange boxes. Also I created Public folders on Exchange 2007 and can see the public folders in the exchange 2003 system manager. But can not replica the free/busy to it. Hopefully that is a clearier picture. 1. When you look 2003 ESM public folders\schedule + free busy and look
at the replication tab of the free busy instances ie. EX:/o=company/ ou=org/ does it show your Exchange 2007 server? 2. Anyhow, the problem we have is that users can not see Free/busy of other on outlook 2007 when they do scheduling. However, free/busy is showing when they use OWA. Anyone, can help me by sending procedure to check up Exchange 2007 installation or what is standards requirement to achieve that. Your help is vey much appreciated |
