It appears that the Common GridView Tasks under ASP.NET controls for Data
allows for inserting new records, but the option is not present in the Trial version of Expression Web. Is this on purpose, due to a bug, or am I mistakenly missing a step? Paging, sorting, editing, deleting, selecting are all listed & have check boxes, but inserting is missing. Thank you in advance. |

Try a FormView or DetailsView control instead. They are designed for inserting records.
