Please can anyone tell me which is best for building nav bars. DHTML/ Java
Script or SWF. I am currently using a programme from http://www.flashation with FP 2003 and it works very well. I presumed due to not requiring FP Extensions a flash menu has many benefits as well as having very small files. Which is better? I could be wrong, but I don't think search engine spiders can read flash
menus. And, isn't it a pain to re-do flash if you want to change your menu structure? A well designed DHTML menu will function if JavaScript and/or CSS is not
supported (for any reason) by the browser. A well designed Flash menu will not even be seen if Flash is not supported. |
