Is it possible to configure a customisable disclaimer for all outbound
IM traffic that will go out at the start of a new conversation?

Alternately if there's a sample script out there for this that would be
useful.

Note: I see there is an archiving disclaimer that you can set on the
Access Proxy if you are archiving but no other references except in 3rd
party products like Akonix.

Thanks

Yes. Within the communicator.adm there is a policy setting called "Warning
Text" with the following explanation: "This policy allows the administrator
to configure the initial text that appears in the instant messaging area when
a conversation window is opened."

Are you sure that does not only apply to communicator only? What about the
other side if they are using MSN/AOL/Yahoo through PIC?

Yep, isn't that only seen by the sender in their conversation window?

Actually I hadn't made that clear - The business wants something that
will be seen by the recipient in the case of PIC or enhanced
federation.

thanks

We are currently working on a solution that does just this. We are in the
beta/testing phase so I will post back when the trial is available.
