A user recently reported an issue with printing reports. When I tried
from my machine, I am also having a problem. We had always been able
to print in the past, so am not quite sure what the issue is and where/
when it originated. As a temporary measure, I have advised that they
export to pdf and then print from there, but is obviously a bit
annoying.

When we try pressing the print button, nothing happens and we get the
warning sign (yellow triangle with black exclamation mark in the
bottom left corner (IE7). Getting details for it gives the following:

Char: 4
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I have recently
upgraded to MS Office 2007 on my machine, but it has been a long time
since I tried printing a report so my guess is that this is
irrelevant. I'm not sure if there have been any changes on the users
machine.

I've seen a lot of people reporting issues after installing a recent windows
update. no need for me to rehash the details, you can review these two

Thanks Dave - removing the Hotfix described in these articles fixed
the problem.
