I am using Office 2000-sp3 with Outlook 2003. When starting an Office 2000
app, I occasionally get the error "The Office Assistant could not be started ...." The symptoms are exactly as those described in KB article 841530 and 840644. Does anyone know where I can get the Office 2000 post-sp3 patch for this problem? I don't want to pay for a MS tech support call just to get a file. Cheers |

There are no charges incurred for phoning for a hotfix where the MS Knowledge base article lists that as the method to obtain it.
