Hi Nigel,

Activesync allows you to sync a Windows based computer with a Windows CE
based mobile device. For a comparable program, you might want to take a
look at the following:

http://www.synchpst.com/

http://www.01ware.com/syncpro/

http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm

I hope you find the information useful.

There are a number of file sync programs around... I use and recommend
filesync from http://fileware.com

I am not aware of any Outlook PIM sync options other than copying the
pst file back and forth.

I forgot to mention that XP also has built in file sync capabilities as
well... don't know much about it though since filesync works so well.

Hi Bev

(Just for your information)

Searched on MS support for 'filesync', 'file sync', etc. but nothing came up
to suggest that MS have incorporated any sort of file synchronisation
program within XP.

I don't use it, so I have little information about it, but the starting
place is

open file explorer
tools/syncronization
