Use SharePoint Designer to open your site, navigate to the library/list
containing the ASPX file and double click on the file NewForm.aspx to edit it. |

The users shouldn't be editing this page.

Here is more information about the issue.
When I say users, I mean site admins (as opposed to the IT team that set up the environment). These site admins do not have SharePoint Designer, and anyway SharePoint Designer is not enabled on the server. Nevertheless, a user with admin rights can see the Site Actions button on Newform.aspx. In this Site Actions menu, one option is Edit Page. The issue is that this option is greyed out, so I am looking for a way to activate it. There is a workaround that I used to do this..
