I have a simple request form that's set up as a SharePoint list. I used a
"collect data from user" workflow in Designer to assign the task to a
designated person who has to answer a couple of questions. Since these are
two different lists ("Request" list and "Tasks" list), is there a way to
print out a consolidated list of both lists? Thanks.

Hello 22nd,

How exactly you want to achieve this?
What I'd do I just took ContenQuery web part and query lists to get these
results.
But AFAIK you need to customize CQWP if you want to use only two specific
lists - it means you need to subclass it.

Thanks for your help, Michael. My 1st list ("Request List") is for people to
submit their requests for help with tasks. It consists of a few columns
(Requestor, Task, and Requested Completion Date). The 2d list ("Tasks List")
is for designated persons only who would do the tasks and then complete two
columns in the Tasks List (Date of Completion and Completed By). I created
the workflow in Designer using the "Collect Data from User" wizard. This
method seems to work fine. One of my project requirements is the maintenance
of a historical record of all the tasks and it's likely that I'd be asked to
export the record into a spreadsheet or something along those lines. In that
event, how would I merge those two lists? More fundamentally, should I have
used a different approach to start with? Would the SP out-of-the-box
workflow work? Many thanks.

Hello 22nd,

There is no out-of-the-box functionality for such reporting. What you can
do is just create custom action where manually merge data from your list
and use this action in you workflow
