Can I add a field to a newform.aspx?

I have an IT Team Workspace and need to add fields to the Projects List New
Item page. When I open the newform.aspx in SharePoint Designer it displays
some sort of generic three column form. Can I modify the newform.aspx.

I'm using WSS not MOSS.

Thanks,

Joel

Never mind. I found the following article that told me what I need to know.
Maybe someone else can use it as well.

This is helpful to me. There was a requirement to hide 'Meeting Workspace'
from New/Edit Event in Calendar of events.
