First, Sorry for my poor english ...

Then, i have a problem XD, I hope you will help me.
I have create a new application server for test with this component :

Windows server 2003 R2 + Win update
IIS
Framework .NET 3.0
Sharepoint Services 3.0
VS 2005 + Extensions for Sharepoint 3.0

I have add, by this way, my site template :

-> Site Action
-> Site Settings
-> Site Templates
-> Upload Document
-> Browse for my Stp File then OK

My site template appear now in the site template Gallery on
Sharepoint.

Ok now let's try to create a new site based on this site template.

-> Site Actions
-> Create
-> Sites and workspace
-> title, Url, and ...

Oh my God ! I haven't my site template in the template selection
list...
Why ... I don't know ...

Have you an idea ?

My famous site template is in french language.
My Sharepoint services 3.0 is in english.

And, this can't work :)
I needed to install Sharepoint Services in French ! ! !

Maybe Crosoft wants that i install 2 server with 2 licence of 2003 XD

You can use english language templates in a french language site by
installing the *English* language Language Pack.

Note that in your original set-up (WSS 3.0 English; site template
French) you would only have needed to install the *French* language pack.
