Hi,

We want to import user profiles in SPPS. It can be done through "Configure
Profile Import.

Scenario:
All servers are on windows 2003. The domain controllers are in "Internal
LAN" and SPPS is on "DMZ". There is a utility which imports all the users
and groups information from the Active Directory Domain Controllers and
replicates with the local users/groups on SPPS server.

Question:
We cannot access Active Directory Domain Controllers from the SPPS server.
Can we import users from local windows users/groups? any official
documentation or article about it?

Thanks in advance.

You will only be able to use the profile import functionality against a LDAP
server.

You can, however programmatically add users to the profile database. I
would suggest looking over the SDK if this sounds like a viable solution.
