How do I add a Custom Site Column to the Advanced Search Properties drop down?
Under Shared Services / Search Settings / Metadata Property Mappings there is a section for Mappings to crawled properties, but my Custom Column type does not show up there. |

You will have to customize the Advanced Search. You can add the
Metadata property into the XSL by copying a existing property tag in the XSL, paste and rename it. RRFreeman wrote: [..] |

I tried modifying the XSL, but the XSL references the Metadata Property
Mappings which are set up in the Shared Services Central Admin tool. I need to be able to add a custom site column to the Metadata Property Mappings first. "Ki" wrote: [..] |
