I'm working with SharePoint 2007 MOSS, to which I just migrated my
old MCMS 2002 site. All the templates were migrated, but as I understand it they are not associated to the master pages. I would like to change the look and the feel of the master page, as well as customize the top navigational bar. How do I do this? I assume I use the Designer, but I simply do not see the connection between the .master page and the placeholdermain. Where can you customize the top navigation bar for the master page? Where can you modify the main content placeholder? I've seen multiple posts regarding this, but there seems to be a huge lack of information specifically regarding customizing these items. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

Because, while it appears that the template (look and feel; branding
and navigation) are not carried through - they are carried through as the pagelayout (edit page > page menu > page settings and schedule > page layout). So the old templates are put in the masterpages and galleries; and they control the pagelayout for each page migrated accordingly? While the master pages dictate the look and feel/branding and navigation? On Jan 24, 3:45 pm, jtfa...@eudoramail.com wrote: [..] |
