Out-of-box Approval Workflow in MOSS 2007

As known there are two (serial and Parralel) approval workflows
possible.

In parralel approval workflow, it happens that if three users are
approvers then in their task list the task of approval appears and
once all the three users have approved the document the status of
that
document changes to Approved.

but I need the status of the document to be Approved if any of the
three users approve the document. and also I need the task list of
those users to be updated as that some user has approved that
document.

Is there any posibility of this without custom workflows...

can we make any changes in the out-of-box workflows....

What you can do is to set up the workflow to use Parralel and not serial for
the approval status to be changed to approved.

You could easily coordinate your own workflows using SharePoint Designer and
i think that is a lot easier than customize the out-of the box ones.
