I have a script that runs a farm level backup every week night. It is
working well. It creates a new spr000n folder each night instead of overwriting the existing folder. I guess this is by design. Will it cause a problem to delete the previous versions of the backups or do I need to keep them for some reason? Here is my script: stsadm.exe -o backup -directory C:\SPS_backups -backupmethod full |

You can delete them, just make sure to keep a few around just in case the
