Hi
I customized the NewForm.aspx page of a sharepoint "Issue" list using FrontPage 2003. I just changed the appearance of the page, two field side by side instead of one. Problem is that now when I add a new culumn (Modify Settings and Columns ->Add New Column -> dropdown -> OK) it does not show in the NewForm.aspx eventhough the column appears in the default view and in EditForm.aspx Any way to show the field in NewForm.aspx as on that field different views have to be created. Thanks VK |

You could delete the column; re-instate the original version of NewForm.aspx
from your backup copy; add the column; backup NewForm.aspx again and then make your format changes to NewForm.aspx again. Hi Mike
Some bad news... I did not create a backup of the NewForm.aspx. Have I still got a chance? If no then what are the other options. I surely do not want to delete the data in tyhe list and neither wan't to enter the whole data again. Mike Walsh wrote: [..] |

I honestly don't know. When things like this happen as a result of FrontPage
changes it's often time to recreate the list (if you don't have a backup). But wait around here, someone might have a solution. (I'll confess to have run without backups too so you are not alone ...) Mike Walsh, Helsinki, Finland "varun kumar" <varunkumar1> wrote in message news:4410 [..] |
