I'm familiar with using FrontPage 2003 to modify these files in WSSV2
by right-clicking on the list form web part on the page and choosing "Customize SharePoint List Form". However, in WSSV3 using SharePoint Designer I don't see this option. On V2 sites that I have done test migrations to V3 I see that my customizations stick (I know there is a migration option to remove customizations and essentially "reghost" these form pages and I'm intentionally not using that), but if I bring the page up in edit mode in SP Designer, I just see that generic placeholder for the list form that shows: "Column 1", "Column 2", "Column 3" and do not see a way to customize the form or view my customizations in design mode. Am I missing something obvious here? |
