Hi,
I wrote a little bat script that changes names of some folders on client, and copies some files from shared network folder to local disk. Script works if I start it from command line, but if I try to distribute it with SMS, it fails, I get error code 1 (or 4), and cannot find out where the error is? Can someone help me? Thanks Tom |

I found out that it won't copy files. I redirected output to a file and
it states 0 files copied. I've used xcopy. Ideas anyone?? Lepi wrote: [..] |

One more thing. I tried with simple copy command and it returned access
denied. What is the user that is used in this case??? Thanks Lepi wrote: [..] |

The local machine account.
I have had success with adding "Domain Computers" to our software share's file and share security. This lets Computers mount the share. I have also used http://www.joeware.net/win/free/tools/cpau.htm which does like a runas, but encrypts the password in a binary file. The script runs as a specified user and is able to mount the shares. (like old SMS did) -- |

Did you enable the requires drive letter, on the program's environment tab ?

I belive you need to map the drive prior to the UNC share path commnad
execution. I do not think you can use \\ to execute the command within the advertisment regardless of the account. DJ Lepi wrote: [..] |
