Hello, every time I process the cubes, the cache gets deleted. Our server is
also very limited on RAM (4GB). Is there a way to prevent the cache from
getting deleted? When users query the cube via Pivot Table in Excel, the
response time is much slower if there isn't a warm cache.

Also, can someone please tell me how to go about creating a warm cache? Do
I need to Open Excel and manually refresh the pivot table after every full
process, or is there some way to automate warm cache creation?

I added a button in Excel and attached some VB code to refresh all the pivot
tables at once in the workbook, but this is still a manual process that I
would like to avoid if possible.

Thanks for your help!

do you use SSAS 2005 or 2000?
with 2005 you can execute some queries using the ASCMD command line utility
you have to write some MDX queries to warm your cache based on your common
usage.
generally we run these queries just after a process of the cubes.

Thanks Jeje! I'm using SSAS 2005 and SQL Server 2005.

Can you please send me a link or an example of how to warm the cache using
MDX? I appreciate your help.
