I have a Hewlett Packard laptop (Pavilion zd8000) computer, and I need to
re-install the Media Center Extender software to make it "talk" to my XBox (not the Xbox 360). During the installation progress on my laptop, I got a message stating that Norton Anti-Virus was installed and that is preventing me from continuing setup. I have Norton AntiVirus 2005 installed (which includesInternet Worm Protection). How can I get the Media Center Extender to find my XBox (wireless connection) ... also getting around the Norton stuff (without disabling Norton)? |

Many programs seem to require that antivirus be disabled during the install.

Thanks for your reply. This worked! I had also forgotten that since I have
