Dear All,

Can anyone tell me how I can obtain Windows 2008 Group Policy functionality
on my native Windows 2003 domain?

We have a Windows 2003 forest/domain with three domain controllers I have
added a Windows 2008 Member Server it is basically just the OS, Security
Updates, AV etc as I was told you can make use of Windows 2008 Group Policy
functionality by simply adding a member server.

Do I need to do anything else? As when I open Group Policy Management on
the 2008 server it doesn't appear to be as expected it looks exactly the
same as 2003 without the extra functionality I was expecting to see.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Darren

Darren,
You just need to deploy the new Group Policy Preferences client side
extensions to XP or Server 2003 clients, and administer the policies from
Vista SP1 or Server 2008.
