A friend of mine has a new Vista laptop and a copy of S & T 2009
with a Bluetooth GPS. It works well until she closes the lid on her laptop, causing the machine to go to sleep. When she opens it again, S & T can't find the GPS. Vista sees the Bluetooth adapter and says it is enabled and operating normally.. The only solution has been to reboot. Removing/re-adding, or disabling/re-enabling the Bluetooth adapter in the Device Manager doesn't help. Any ideas on how she can continue to use the sleep function and still have the GPS usable when the laptop wakes up (aside from "don't do that")? Thanks. |
