I never said I agreed nor disagreed with anything in the article. The post that I responded to asked for a source. Period. Not a source, a quick synopsis of the article, and my opinion. In this group, it's sometimes best to speak like you are in court. Answer the exact posted question, period. Nothing more, nothing less. |

More than anything else, why upgrade when what we have works for us? We don't see a huge feature or other benefits to upgrade at this time. |

With all the factors that have to be taken into consideration when upgrading an OS, it comes as no surprise to me that Vista hasn't been installed by every Windows user yet. It's still the first year. > More than anything else, why upgrade when what we have works for us? We > don't see a huge feature or other benefits to upgrade at this time. That's exactly why my hard-headed father-in-law still sticks to MS-DOS 6.22. But you may have a valid point, it's not unusual for companies to skip a generation of the software they use. Jan |

I only work for small businesses and home users myself, and our customer's main concern is cost, licensing and the cost of new hardware in particular. The ones who chose to deploy Vista, mainly do it for the added security features (businesses) and the bling (home users). Jan |

Besides, it's not MS it is the software companies fault. they aren't writing
software for vista, that's why it won't work with vista. the software writers need to get their arses into gear and start supporting windows vista. windows is all we have, SO YOU'D BETTER PUT UP OR SHUTUP!!!!!!!!!! "Mang Chai Lyn" wrote: [..] |
