Hi

As far as I know, there's nothing in Vista to do this.

You can choose to turn off the display and the hard drive

Control Panel>PowerOptions> Change plan Settings>Change Advanced Powe
Settings

there is a gadget, from here

'Download AutoShutdown Vista Gadget 1.4.1 - Vista gadget that will yo
access to an automatic shutdown utility on your desktop or sidebar
Softpedia
(http://www.softpedia.com/get/Windows...a-Gadget.shtml

Hope that help

C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe. Run it from Task Scheduler, say, at a
certain time using whatever switches (here:
http://itsvista.com/2007/03/shutdown/ ) you need.

Or, you can try scheduled scripts/commands:

Or, try this free tool:

Search the web (Vista shutdown.exe) or such for more.
