Help! I somehow managed to "lose" Microsoft Word from my
computer. I was installing an update from the Windows
Update site and after restarting my computer, found that
Word is missing. I'm sure it's not too difficult, but I
really don't know how to reinstall it (since I cant locate
it anywhere on my computer).

You need Word's setup disk. If Word came preinstalled on your computer,
check the disks that came with your computer. If your system came with a
recovery CD that returns your system to the state it was in when new, then
it is a part of that bundle and usually cannot be installed separately. If
you purchased word, then you should have a CD.

If you have no disks but Word was preinstalled when you purchased your PC,
note, Word is a separate application and is not a default part of XP, you'll
need to contact your PC manufacturer for help with this issue.
