Can anyone tell me how to configure XP to open a program at startup, but

Put a shortcut in the startup folder, right click on it and select
Properties. You'll have the option to open it in a Normal Window, Minimized or Maximized. Select whichever you prefer. To put it in the Startup folder open Windows Explorer, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Start Menu\Startup. Put a shortcut to the program in there. "Greatoutdoors" wrote: |

"Minimize" to the taskbar, or minimize to the system tray?

To the taskbar -- like you would see if you opened Word (for example), then
just minimized it while You did something else for a moment. I think Mike may have answered my question, but thank you both for taking the time to respond! I know know a lot of these questions must seem very foolish to those who know what they are doing. :-) "Ted Zieglar" wrote: [..] |

The only foolish question is the one not asked.
Let us know if it works or not or if you need any additional help at all. Good Luck! "Greatoutdoors" wrote: [..] |
