Windows update fails during the update phase, after the "Express" or
"Custom" with the splash bar moving across the bar. Sometimes, the Internet explore window simply goes away and sometimes the report to Microsoft screen appears. I have performed the proxy reset, inf/ie.inf /install, iexplore /rereg, and regsvr32 wuapi.dll processes. What next? Thanks. /Howard |

How to view the Update log in Windows
