Are their got you's involved in choosing the Home and Student edition?

The programs are the same, but with Home & Student you are not allowed
to use them for any "commercial purposes." I suppose that means that
if you're ever going to write anything for pay, or to be published,
you can't use H&S. That's why the reduced price.
