Quick question...I have a Windows XP Home Upgrade Cd. Is the Recovery
Console on this CD?

Yes it is. The upgrade cd is the same as the complete cd. It just requests
proof of prior Windows ownership.

One quick note--after you install XP sp2, the Recovery Console will not
install because sp2 is considered a newer operating system. You'll have to
research this further by looking up "Slipstreaming."

Thanks Bert. Mary thanks for the helpful hint. I found that out the hard
way when I first installed XP PRO on my system...I put SP2 on before
installing the Recovery Console. I've since created a "slipstreamed CD" in
case I have to reinstall XP PRO again.

I'm going to install XP Home on someone elses computer and I just wasn't
sure if the Recovery Console was exclusive to XP PRO.
