I have a client with a non booting Sata Drive Dell system. If amd trying to
recover the data. I installed the drive in a 2nd good system and whether I boot normally or with the drive disconnected until it is up and running thr system crashes almost immediately with a stop 0X00000024 error ntfs.sys. |

If you can access the drive that way, then after copying whatever data you able to, run the chkdsk command and see if that's of any use. I assume you've checked out the disk with a diagnostic utility from the manufacturer of the disk, yes? Anna |
