I have a Dell Dimension 4600 desktop system running XP Pro SP3. When I
shutdown and select Standby the system goes into standby but within half an hour the system wakes up all by itself. Can any suggest what might cause this? I have two other XP systems and neither of them exhibits this problem. |

Wake on lan, scheduled tasks, updates....
Go to Start/Run and type in: eventvwr.msc |
