Hello,
I have more than one e-mail domain being serviced my my exchange 2003 enterprise server. I'd like it so that when you click on to, it will pull up users for that particular e-mail domain. I read the following article but had a few issues - http://support.microsoft.com/smarter...%3fid%3d822940 When you get to step 5 D - I don't see anything that says Distinguished name, and when I click on find now - it doesn't find any so I'm guessing I've got something wrong. |

Hi
Yes that attribute does not display for the use object, not sure if this is an error in the document or it is for an earlier version of Windows. I normally base my search filters on Department or extensionAttributeX. There is an MS Kb article which mentions there can be problems when an LDAP search filter is based on or uses a group for filtering. Something about adding new members and the query not including the new members. When I return to my office I will post my procedure for seperating/filtering GAL's, and see if I can find that KB article about the problems with LDAP search filters based on groups. Regards |

I think I'm all set. I needed to go to adsi edit to find the correct group
name - ou=blah,dc=blah, group=blah - sure is a pain to know without using adsiedit - I was just using the actual group name without all the ou, dc etc and I guess it needs the whole deal to work. "Ben Hoffman" <nospam> wrote in message news:a572 [..] |
