I was wondering if it's possible to install the Exchange 2003 Management
Tools on a computer to manage an Exchange 2000 server without negatively
impacting that server? This is a pre-requisite for our Blackberry
implementation. Our Blackberry server is running W2k3 Server and only
Exchange 2003 tools are allowed to be installed on that machine and it needs
them to work. However we are running 1 Exchange 2000 server and I want to
make sure I don't screw something up on that box by doing so.

Thanks!

Blackberry server is running Windows Server 2003 - you can install Exchange
Server 2003 management tools on it - it won't negatively impact your
Exchange 2000 server.
In fact, you can use Exchange Server 2003 ESM to manage Exchange 2000
servers.
