Our original priv1.edb grew too large so I moved the user mailboxes to newly
created dBs.

Now I want to delete the orig. priv1.edb store. Can I move the System
Attendant mailbox? The Move option in System Manager is not available for
this mailbox.

Evan Dodds has a great blog post about System Mailboxes

From: Exchange Server 2003 Disaster Recover Ops Guide -> Issues with the
System Attendant Mailbox When Moving an Exchange Mailbox Database:

It is possible to change the database that hosts the system attendant
mailbox. If you use Exchange System Manager to completely delete the system
attendant mailbox database object, Exchange will automatically designate one
of the other databases on the server to host the system attendant mailbox.
You cannot control the assignment of the new database unless there are only
two databases configured on the server.

To keep it simple, why not just move the users back to the original database?
Here's what I've done in the past:
1. Move users from DB1 (which has system attendant) to DB2.
2. Dismount DB1
3. Delete stm and edb files for DB1 and mount DB1
4. Mount DB1
5. Move users from DB2 to DB1

This way you don't risk damaging the System Attendant mailbox, nor any
services have to be restarted.

Worked great, thanks!
