HI!
We're using AIX 52-007 on an older box that's been out of firmware update for a while although it runs fine. To compensate for the daylight savings time change coming in March, I used Smitty (yeah I know-neophyte) to get to the 'Change Time Zone Using User Inputted Values" and plugged in all the needed stuff except I'm not sure if I just plug a "4" into "Day Light Savings Time Offset from CUT" should go from 5 to 4 and that's it. Is that all there is to it? Of course, the machine has to be rebooted and since it has a couple of databases which we like to keep live 24/7, maybe it's just easier to reset the time twice . . . hope the weekend is going well, Bill |
