Today I learned "ubuntu linux" www.ubuntu.com and kubuntu linux
"www.kubuntu.com"

You can go to their web-site and download it for free or you can ask
for a FREE CDROM to be shipped to you.
Ubuntu linux co-exists with debian linux and is very good for desktops
BECAUSE THERE IS NO ROOT IN IT AND THE FIRST USER IS AUTOMATICALLY A
SUDO

commands to remember are

sudo
dig google.com
ftp ftp.cs.umn.edu
login id anonymous
password "email id"
to send and receive large files to check your speeds

ubuntu linux comes with mozilla or some such browser.
it installs flawlessly.
kubuntu linux comes with kde4.0 which wants you to do some work to
memorize the commands.

the screen is much easier on the eyes than LINUX.

google tools are SERVICES built on open source SOFTWARE AND NOW THE

What does that mean? - ubuntu and kubuntu are linux distributions -
i.e., they use the linux kernel; so you seem to be saying:
