Well, when I went to that site Safari told me it had content of MIME
type "application/x-shockwave-flash" and I don't have a plugin for that.

I've got the latest flash player - anyone advise me which plugin I need,
and where I can get it?

Mac Mini (dual core) running OS 10.4.10 and Safari 3 beta.

Cheers,

Dave

Your problem is that Adobe is too pathetic to update its Shockwave /
Director plugin and make it a Universal binary - I mean it's only been
two years since the tools were made available, and Adobe's just a small
operation without the resources to make it happen, right?

You can use the available PowerPC based plugin, but only by running
Safari as an emulated PowerPC application, which will slow it down of
course. You can't use a PowerPC plugin in the middle of an Intel
application. So to see it, do a Get Info on the Safari application,
check the "Open Using Rosetta" box, and it will show Director /
Shockwave content when you next run it. However it will run slower, so
when you're done, quit it and uncheck that box before using it again.

And perhaps drop Adobe a line to say how much you appreciate their
efforts.

Cheers, MK.
