I've been trying to do a remote wipe for the first time. The status is
displaying "wipe initiated" and has been saying this for the past 30 minutes. Is this normal and how long should this take? Running exchange 2003 standard. The mobile device is running windows mobile. |

I need to add that it is my device so I will know if it works or not and the

It didn't wipe the phone until I made a sync with the exchange server. Is
this the only way to initiate the sync with the phone? I normally would manually sync with exchange. I thought you could push the wipe out to the phone automatically. "Andy David {MVP}" wrote: [..] |

Exchange and the phone are connected via ssl, so if you switch of Active Sync Wipe won´t work. |
