Team,

I'm a s/w engineer working for a MNC.
Recently i faced few issues on the Refresh icon in IE 7.0.
Would like to know if there are any difference in functioning between
Refresh icon & view->Refresh menu. Though the icon shows a tool tip as
'Refresh(f5)', i faced few differences between these two.
Appreciate if someone could take up this & respond immediately.

Thanks

To my knowledge, there is no difference in the two options.

However, by holding down Ctrl and hitting f5, this does a refresh, a hard
refresh, of the page by pulling the content from the server rather than
pulling it from your cache.

Hope this helps.
