That's one of the features included in the VM Additions software.
Uninstall it to eliminate that feature if you believe if a security
risk.

Hello,
Thank you for the answer.
But, i need using other additon tools (drive sharing, video add on etc). I
just want to stop to share clipboard between host and guests and only this
feature.
If i uninstall all VM Additions, applications in Virtual PC 2007 run so
slowly that it is unusable.
Is there any key in the register to stop that feature?

Best regards.

It's pretty much all or nothing. There's one service for the VM
Additions, if you disable it you lose all the features of it.

http://blogs.msdn.com/virtual_pc_guy...irtual-pc.aspx
indicates that if you're willing to lose a small subset of services
together it's possible.

This solution apparently lets you keep the mouse cursor integration and
improved performance, which (at least to me) are the important ones.
