Hi,
My SharePoint Search has stopped working I get the following error in event viewer. Event Type: Warning Event Source: Office Server Search Event Category: Gatherer Event ID: 2436 Date: 14/8/2009 Time: 11:09:39 AM User: N/A Computer: INTRANET Description: The start address <https://portal.xxx.co.za> cannot be crawled. Context: Application 'SharedServices', Catalog 'Portal_Content' Details: Access is denied. Verify that either the Default Content Access Account has access to this repository, or add a crawl rule to crawl this repository. If the repository being crawled is a SharePoint repository, verify that the account you are using has "Full Read" permissions on the SharePoint Web Application being crawled. First thing I would check is if the password for the crawler account has
expired. |

I am not sure if you are running in to the loopback check issue here. If so,
