I have a published website on my ISA 2006 server and all works great.
problem is that when I look at my google analytics, all the traffic comes
from one website which is the IP address of my ISA Server.

Is there a way around this?

change the isa publishing rule so that the trafficcomes from the originating
client and not from isa

and don't forget to configure the published webserver as secure-nat-clients
of your isa!

So when I configured the publishing rule to originating client, the site
stopped working. I presume because of the secure-nat-client configuration?

So how do I configure my webserver as a secure-nat-client? is it simply
installing the ISA client software?

yep!

no, just point the default-gateway to your isa-server. look here:

Simple enough! What do I loose by doing this, anything?

you don't loose anything, but you have to check your internal
routing-structures first! perhaps you have to work with permanent routes in
your routing-table to reach the goal.

Hmm... interesting thought. so for example, if I had multiple subnets on my
itnernal network, would a "route add" work on the workstations if I was
unable to change my gateway router to point to the ISA Server?

hm, only the published webservers need to change their gates! not the
workstations.
if your webservers also need to reach your internal subnets, than use the
"route add" (don't forget the parameter -p) on these servers to add these
subnets.

Agreed, but as a work around for a backup gateway; in the event my normal
gateway went down, I would update my workstations to route through the ISA
Server.

It was great chatting with you, thanks for all your help!
