If you need permission to delete the folder the 'permission' box should have
a 'continue' button. Pressing continue should take you through the various
User Account Controls to enable you to delete the folder, i.e., if necessary
asking for the administrator password.

If this isn't happening then try right clicking Windows explorer (start>all
programs>accessories>Windows Explorer) and select the 'run as administrator'
option.

Since we don't know the source of your folder, try to gain Full Control of
the folder by right clicking folder > Properties > Security and set the
correct parameters for Full Control. Also, you can try to delete the folder
by drilling down to the files and start deleting from there.

Hope this helps...

You can turn off that aggravation and user account confusion. Click on the
link and read up on how to do it.

You can take ownership of the folder, and use a group like Administrators
that has full rights on the folder or an individual user account that has
full rights on the folder. That individual user account can be the the user
part of the users/admin account, which is based on the user-id you use to
login as user/admin. You are part of User and Administrators group as
user/admin on Vista.
